Borgo Sicelle Residence in Chianti since 1998

We are in Sicelle, in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti (10 km) even if the closest village is San Donato in Poggio (3 km) where you can find shops, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, and the post office.

We are at 6 km from the motorway entrance Firenze - Siena to make excursions to Florence (27 km), Siena (35 km), San Gimignano (25 km), Volterra (50 km), Pisa (90 km), Arezzo (100 km), Lucca (110 km).

And if you want to tour in the Chianti area you can easily reach Panzano (8 km), Greve (18 km), Radda (20 km).

If you use the GPS, you don't need to enter "Località Sicelle" but just "Sicelle".

Arriving from North:

From motorway A1 Milano-Firenze-Roma take the exit Firenze Impruneta, and then on your right take the 4-lane freeway for Siena and exit at S.Donato.

Follow the signs for S.Donato but do not go to this village, but go further, then on the left you will find directions to Sicelle, Greve, Panzano. Follow the signs and after about 3 km you will find us down the road on the left.

Arriving from South:

Take the motorway A1 for Firenze/Bologna and exit at Valdichiana

Follow the signs for Siena and where the 4-lane road ends follow the sings on the left for Firenze/Grosseto.

After about 3/4 kms, leaving the tunnel, follow the signs on the right for Firenze and enter the freeway Siena-Firenze. After 40 km approximately exit at S.Donato.

Follow the signs for S. Donato, do not enter the town, follow the signs for SICELLE, going 1km away, you will find on the left, after a bottleneck, signs for Sicelle, Greve, Panzano. Follow these indications and after 3 km you will find us down the road on the left.

Or:

From the A1 Roma-Firenze motorway, exit at Firenze Impruneta, just out on the right, take the highway to Siena (4 lanes) and exit at San Donato.

Follow signs for S.Donato but do not enter the village and go further, then on the left you will find directions to Sicelle, Greve, Panzano. Follow the signs and after about 3 km you will find us down the road on the left.

If you are arriving from Pisa/Livorno:

take motorway (no tolls) for FIRENZE and after SCANDICCI EXIT (but you don't exit) you'll find green signs A1 ROMA- BOLOGNA. and leave it at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA (you pay) .

On the right, take motorway (no tolls) for SIENA (4 corsie) and leave it at S.DONATO exit..

Follow directions for S.DONATO but don't go into S.Donato..

Continue on this road and on the left, you'll find signs for SICELLE, GREVE, PANZANO. .

Keep going for 3 kms and you'll find us on the left (in the yellow house there is the reception) .
